• “Heart Like a Hand Grenade” opens in theaters today, chronicling the making of Green Day’s album “American Idiot.” The documentary was cut by Beast Chicago editor Dean Gonzalez in 2004, from 350 hours of footage, and was deliberately held by director John Roecker until now in order to serve as a time capsule for fans.
