Una Celebración del Cinco de Mayo en Brickyard VFX
Last night's Cinco de Mayo celebration at Brickyard was the perfect mixture of mayhem and tomfoolery, as friends and colleagues gathered at the recently expanded Santa Monica facility for a night filled with Mexican wrestling, margaritas, Mexican grub, good company and the harmonious sounds of Mariachis.
Creative folks from across the ad industry caught up with one another and checked out Brickyard’s newly expanded digs as they tossed back tequila from cool hand-crafted shot glasses made from ice. Other highlights included a mustache artist, photo room where guests could capture snapshots of themselves styled with 'staches and sombreros, and epic wrestling battles between the Lucha Lords. Throughout the night partygoers hovered around the ring, cheering with shouts of “le
gusta” and “otra vez," as fighters smacked and clobbered one another, often spilling the action out of the ring and into the crowd. One of the female tequila shooter servers even showcased her moves in the ring – turns out she was a luchador in disguise!
Thanks to Brickyard, guests had an unforgettable and truly authentic Cinco de Mayo experience. If you missed the event or simply want to relive the nostalgia of the evening be sure to check out pix here!
