Raz Public Relations announced today that industry veteran Julie Miller has joined the company as managing director. In this role, Miller will work with founder Karen Raz to oversee new business development and agency operations, as well as contributing to client strategies and programs.
 
Miller brings seventeen years of experience to Raz PR. She joins the agency most recently from Digital Domain, where she was director of communications and PR. Miller worked with Avid Technology for ten years, holding both in-house and consulting PR and marketing positions. She worked with London-based PR agency Bubble & Squeak, driving Hollywood-based programs for clients including Softimage, FilmLight, Cooke Optics, and Digital Vision, and has consulted for Ascent Media, Akamai, The Foundry, and other manufacturers, creative companies and PR agencies.  While at Digital Domain Miller drove the publicity campaign for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which earned an Academy Award and four VES nods for visual effects.
 
Miller’s appointment brings additional depth to Raz PR, enabling the company to extend its services across marketing strategy and program support, media relations, writing and story placement, and social media outreach; as well as the capacity to further build its roster with new clients. As part of its expansion, Raz PR has also promoted publicist Natasha Wang to Senior Account Supervisor.
